District I Tours Fallingwater

Bear Run, Southwestern Pennsylvania, May 17, 2014:   Members and guests of District I day tripped to Fallingwater, the weekend home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the owners of Kaufman's Department Store of Pittsburgh, PA.  Fallingwater was one of three projects that re-energized the career of the then 67-year-old architect Wright.  Fallingwater is perhaps his best known work.
