May 29, 2011: District I's Shirley Nicolai was installed as president of National Garden Clubs, Inc. at a glittering gala banquet in the ballroom of the J.W. Marriott Hotel. Shirley is a member of both Tanta-Cove Garden Club and Fergie's Gardeners.
